Rudy on the Radio

Giuliani's first campaign spot.

Rudy Giuliani has released the first advertisement of his presidential campaign. It's a radio ad running on conservative talk shows. Giuliani's ahead in the polls, but his lead is shrinking. Part of the reason is that conservatives, who make up the bulk of his party, don't think he's one of them. He's pro-choice, pro-gay rights, and anti-gun. His private life is also messy. So, Giuliani's first ad tries to address all of those concerns … by ignoring them. Watch this Damned Spot video to see how Rudy is changing the subject.
