A "Jurisprudence" and a "Convictions" blog post, both published May 13, featured a photograph of a man identified as Mohammed al-Qahtani. The man pictured was indeed named Mohammed al-Qahtani, but he was not the same man discussed in the article and blog post. The photograph has been removed.
In the May 13 "Today's Blogs," Michael Weiss mistakenly wrote that the New York Times reported that 80 percent of the buildings in Sichuan Province were destroyed by the earthquake. The newspaper reported that 80 percent of buildings in certain parts of the province were destroyed.
In the May 12 "Books," Dahlia Lithwick identified the USS Enterprise's science officer as Dr. Spock. He is Mr. Spock.
In the May 12 "Deathwatch," Christopher Beam mistakenly referred to the superdelegate count as the pledged-delegate count.

In a May 12 "XX Factor" post, Anne Applebaum erroneously referred to the London Times. The newspaper is known only as the Times, though outside Britain it is often described as the Times of London.
In the May 9 "Gaming," Sudhir Venkatesh incorrectly referred to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas as the "third version" of the Grand Theft Auto series. It was actually the fifth Grand Theft Auto game—two titles, Vice City and San Andreas, were released between Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto IV.
In the May 8 "Deathwatch," Christopher Beam mistakenly referred to May 6 as March 6.
